Living with a broken pancreas.

Hi. I'm Sarah, and this is my journey as a type 1 diabetic.

Day 44

No quote. Lazy. Tired.

So I went down to Emory hospital today to get my shot for the trial and the usual doctor wasn’t there, so I saw his office’s partner at the adult endocrinologist. So after he does the full examination like they do every week, he talks to me about my numbers which have been crazy. My mom said something about our current endocrinologist being awful, which they are, and he started talking to me about maybe making the switch over, which I already wanted to do. Then he started talking about pumps. He said I don’t have to wait. I have no words do describe my insane excitement. I’M GETTING A PUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NBD. So I liked him a lot and I decided I would switch to him, just because I can be picky and if I like a doctor, I stick with them because I’ll never find another.
